Still no Ngatai for Chiefs

Ngatai has only featured in one game this year, against the Reds on May 6, after being out of action for nearly a year after a sustaining a head knock last season

However, after the Chiefs' bye in Round 12, Ngatai suffered headaches and he has subsequently missed his team's matches against the Crusaders and the Blues.

After a consult with his specialist, the midfielder will miss the Chiefs' next match against the Waratahs in Hamilton on Saturday.

"He's good, the head feels good, he's been training fully, so again we're going to be cautious and take the advice of the expert," Rennie told stuff.co.nz.

Meanwhile, Sam McNicol won't be considered for selection this week because of concussion.

However, Stephen Donald, who was also out with concussion, is set to return to action this week to play his 100th match for the Chiefs.
