Vaea boost for Brumbies
Vaea hasn't played since round two where he suffered a serious finger injury against the Waratahs. He has now recovered and will link with the Brumbies ahead of the trip to Bloemfontein.
Vaea comes into the squad for Jarrad Butler, who is on his way back to Canberra after injuring his knee at training this week. He has suffered damage to his medial ligament and will miss at least four weeks of Super Rugby.
The return of Vaea is a boost for the Brumbies back row stocks in South Africa. In the 11-31 loss to the Stormers, Jordan Smiler started the match at No.8 and was a physical presence around the field, while rookie Michael Wells made his Super Rugby debut at Newlands from the bench.
