Wholesale changes for Lions

In the backline, Nicholas Groom takes over the No.9 jersey from Dillon Smit, while Aphiwe Dyantyi is back at wing in place of Madosh Tambwe.

In the midfield, Lionel Mapoe returns to the starting XV in the No.13 jersey with Harold Vorster moving to inside centre. Rohan Janse van Rensburg drops down to the bench. 

In the pack, Marnus Schoeman gets his first start for the Lions.

With the fiery flank, who made an immediate impact from the bench against the Reds last weekend, at No.6, Albertus Smith moves to No.8 while Cyle Brink comes it at No.7.

Captain Francois Mostert moves back to the lock position where he will partner with Lourens Erasmus. 

There is also some rotation in the front row where Dylan Smith and Jacobie Adriaanse both get a start.
