Lions tweak winning formula for Edinburgh clash

TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT: Lions head coach Ivan van Rooyen has revealed his team to face Edinburgh in their United Rugby Championship Round Four clash in Scotland on Friday.

There are just two changes to the starting team that secured a 31-18 bonus-point win over Cardiff last weekend.

In the pack, Ruan Venter gets the No.7 jersey this week with Emmanuel Tshituka dropping down to the bench.

The other change is on the wing where Stean Pienaar comes in for Edwill van der Merwe, who suffered a concussion in the match against Cardiff.

The Lions will be looking to make it three wins in a row on their URC tour.

Before that win against Cardiff, they edged Ospreys 28-27 in Swansea.

Meanwhile, Edinburgh are back home after they suffered defeats to the Bulls and Stormers in South Africa.
