Report: Gelant to leave Stormers

NEWS: The Stormers are reportedly set to lose Springbok Warrick Gelant at the end of the season.

According to Rapport, Gelant is swapping the Cape Town franchise for a deal in France.

It has been reported that the star will join Racing 92.

The lucrative offer is reported to be in the region of €450,000 (R7.7 million) per season.

The 26-year-old joined the Stormers in 2020 from the Bulls.

Meanwhile, Stormers have managed to secure the signatures of Herschel Jantjies and Salmaan Moerat.

Jantjies, who has made 19 appearances for the Springboks, has signed a new deal that will keep him at the Stormers until 2025.

While Stoermres captain Moerat also decided to stay despite interest from overseas clubs.
