Roos 'looking like a turkey' after petulant display
WATCH as Irish supporters and former players blow up over the petulant behaviour of young Stormers star Evan Roos at the weekend.
Former Ireland great and British & Irish Lions player Gordon D'Arcy headlined the chorus of disapproval of Roos, after he was spotted more than once 'behaving badly'.
D'Arcy, with 250-odd appearances for Leinster, had a full go at Roos for rubbing flyhalf Harry Byrne's face into the ground during a tackle in the Stormers' 2013 win over Leinster in Cape Town at the weekend.
"Evan Roos trying to be a hard man, without doing anything hard," the now 42-year-old former centre said about an incident in the 63rd minute - when the teams were still tied at 13-all.
"Instead [he] just ends up looking like a turkey," D'Arcy added.

His comments caused a Twitter storm, with reactions in support and against his view.
Karl Brophy, CEO of an Irish media agency, suggested the behaviour was "evidence" as to why Roos was not called up to the Springboks' first alignment camp of the year.
"Great talent. but questionable temperament," Brophy said, adding: "He'll learn."
Declan, another fan, said: "Tough guy alright."
He then posted a video of another incident in which Roos appears to be using an illegal swinging arm in an attempted cleanout at a ruck.

Frank Van der Merwe responded in kind by asking D'Arcy why he did not call a Connacht player who shoved Grant Williams' head in the ground a turkey as well.
"I know why, because he is Irish, your team lost and Roos is South African," Van der Merwe answered his own question.
"Also, you couldn't win a World Cup," the Roos supporter continued, adding: "Now talk to yourself."
D'Arcy did reply.
"Didn't see the Connacht match, and that makes no difference.
"Trying to be a hard man. Sadly he isn’t a hard man.
"And yes I haven't won a World Cup, but I have won pretty much everything else, no idea why that matters when your boy is a turkey."
