READERS’ FORUM: Welcome to our live coverage of the United Rugby Championship Round Five match between the Sharks and Connacht at Kings Park in Durban.

The Sharks have slipped to five successive URC defeats, but at least last weekend in their 10-12 loss to Zebre they picked up their first bonus point of 2023/24.

The Sharks are winless in their last eight Championship fixtures against Irish provinces, including a 22-all draw at home to Munster last April.

Connacht’s perfect start to the new URC season ended with their 22-25 defeat at Edinburgh last weekend.
