Midfield shuffle for Tukkies
FNB Tuks coach Freddie Grobler has named a new-look centre pairing for Monday's Varsity Cup semifinal clash against the FNB Maties at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch.
Tuks edged Maties 25-23 last Monday, to book their place in the FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff International play-offs.
The win has also given them a significant psychological advantage ahead of this knockout clash against the defending champions.
Wing Luvuyo Mhlobiso has been handed the No.13 shirt for this semifinal battle, while Piet Swart will line up on his inside. Clayton Blommetjies will slot in on the left-wing to accommodate Mhlobiso's midfield move.
Grobler has also altered his back and front row; with Marnus Schoeman coming in for Tendayi Chikukwa at the side of the scrum and hooker Corné Fourie replaces Henry Bantjes.
