More silverware for SA Students
The SA Students Sevens team picked up more silverware - this time at the Centrale Sevens in France at the end of last month.
The Centrale Sevens, in its sixth year, is a tournament for students and the Freddie Grobler-coached side swept all before them as they claimed the title - thanks to a 21-12 victory in the final over a French selection.
The SA squad was captained by Maties' Cameron Peverett and included a host of household Varsity Cup names, such as Tertius Daniller, Earl Lewis and Pukke's Theuns 'Worsie' Kotzé.
Aside from the SA selection, teams from China, Bulgaria, Belgium and France were also in attendance - along with sides from institutions such as Oxford, Aruba (Buenos Aires), Euskadi, Clermont, Toulon and the Barbarians 92.
