NMMU side set for TUKS clash

Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University (NMMU) are hoping to bounce back after a disappointing first week defeat when they host the University of Pretoria (TUKS) for their Varsity Cup clash on Monday night in Port Elizabeth.

Despite being level at 8-8 at half time in Cape Town last week against Shimlas, NMMU eventually slumped to a disappointing 37-11 loss. It was all not doom-and-gloom for captain Morne van der Westuyzen's men though - a strong first half showed they were very dangerous with ball in hand, something they will no doubt be looking to build on this weekend.

The FNB Varsity Cup presented by Steinhoff had a sensational start last Monday night and the pressure is on the all the sides to continue to produce top notch performances.

Right wing Dale Geyer starts this week with Rayn January dropping out of the squad while Andre Goosen also comes in on the flank at the expense of Qhamani Mjobo.

Last week's star performer Jaco Swanepoel remains at No.8 while exciting No.10 Willem Laubscher will also be hoping to impress once again.
