Tuks thrash poor UJ
The Pretoria side scored five tries in the match with UJ just only getting one.
Tuks opened the scoring after five minutes when hooker Corniel Els got over for a try after a well-worked driving maul.
It did not take long for UJ to close the gap with a Divan Nel penalty before Stander restored his team's seven-point lead with a penalty of his own in the 17th minute.
That lead was extended in the 21st minute when scrumhalf Andre Warner scored a nine-point try after a great break by centre Toko Maebane in his own own half.
Another Stander penalty just before half-time gave the Pretoria side 21-point lead at half-time.
UJ were the first to score in the second half when hooker Johannes Snyman crossed over the tryline from a driving maul in the Tuks' 22.
The Johannesburg team's celebrations was short-lived however, when Tuks lock Aston Fortuin took a quick tap from a penalty inside the UJ 22 and went over for his team's third try.
Centre Duncan Matthews secured the bonus point for the Pretoria side in the 67th minute after scything through the UJ defence after sustained pressure.
Replacement Marco van Staden then rubbed salt into UJ's wounds a few minutes before full-time when he dived over for his team's fifth try, with Stander converting to make it a 35-point margin.
