TUT in hard-fought victory

FNB TUT fought back from 6-8 down at half-time to record a well-deserved 24-8 Carlton Cup win over Silver Valke on Friday evening.

Fullback Mpho Matsaung and No.8 Adrihan Kruger (pictured) scored tries for TUT, whilst flyhalf and captain Werner Pieterse contributed 14 points with his boot to guide his side to the valuable victory.

TUT have now moved into fourth place on the Carlton Cup standings, having gone into the weekend just one position and one point adrift of the Silver Valke.
