Welsh muscle surprises Leguizamon

Argentina back-row ruffled by Wales' physicality

Argentina back-row forward Juan Manuel Leguizamon has revealed his surprise at how Wales approached the first Test last Sunday.

Following Argentina's 27-25 victory, Leguizamon claimed the Pumas were worn out by the fiercely competitive approach of the Welsh side.

"I was really surprised with the style Wales used in the first Test match," said Leguizamon.

"They began with a physical style and at the end we felt a bit tired. Now we have a few days to try to improve."

Despite the win, Leguizamon has called on his team-mates to improve defensively ahead of the second Test on Saturday.

"Despite there not being many days, we can correct some mistakes in defence. We cannot leave holes to let them penetrate us like we did last Sunday," he said.

Gonzalo Tieso, Martin Durand and Federico Martin Aramburu are all struggling with injuries ahead of the second Test.

Tieso twisted his ankle on Sunday and has since trained lightly away from the squad, while Durand is still battling a back injury.

Aramburu, who has a right shoulder injury, was missing from training yesterday. He will undergo tests to determine the seriousness of the injury.
