Class of 1995 reunion at Ellis Park

Players and management from the Springboks 1995 World Cup winning squad will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the day they lifted the William Webb Ellis trophy on Wednesday.

 

They will gather at the very place it happened, at Ellis Park, and will be watching the final en masse, which will also be re-broadcast on television at 15.00 SA time.

 

They squad will be sharing memories amongst themselves and with fans on social media platform Twitter throughout the occasion. There will also be live commentary by members of the team.

 

The South African Rugby Union said they are expecting a 'Twitter Tsunami' with old and new Springbok fans joining in the social media first.

 

To be part of one of the social media events of the year supporters should follow the event through the hashtag #1995reunited and follow @Springboks for behind the scenes coverage.
